Shipwrecked!
Mar 1 @ 7:30 pm

“I’m about to tell you a story. A fantastic and amazing story! A story all the more remarkable because every word of it is true.” So says Louis de Rougemont. His brave and amazing adventures left nineteenth-century England spellbound. In March of 2019, prepare to be swept away in a high seas adventure, populated by a monstrous man-eating octopus, flying wombats, giant sea turtles, cannibals, and buried treasure! Inspired by a true story, Donald Margulies’ epic Shipwrecked: An Entertainment—The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself) examines how far we’re willing to blur the line between fact and fiction in order to leave our mark on the world. This is the second time tKAPOW will produce a play by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Donald Margulies.

$15 for seniors and students and $20 for adults if purchased in advance

Kids Coop Theatre presents Singin’ in the Rain JR
Mar 8 @ 7:00 pm

Singin’ in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren’t always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina’s squeaky voice might be the end of her career in “talking pictures” without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.

Tickets are available online at www.kids-coop-theatre.org or at the door beginning one hour before each performance!

The Majestic Academy of Dramatic Arts presents Disney’s Mary Poppins Jr.
Mar 15 @ 7:00 pm

Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical!

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. MaryPoppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”
